Simple Biscuit Cinnamon Rolls

INGREDIENTS

  • 4-1/2 cups of biscuit mix
  • 1-1/3 cups of evaporated milk

Filling

  • 3 tablespoons of softened butter
  • 1/3 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon McNess ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup walnuts or pecans (optional)

Icing

  • 1 cup confectioner’s sugar
  • 2-3 teaspoons whole milk

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Combine biscuit mix and milk. Mix together and place on a flat floured surface. Knead into a dough and roll out to a 12X10 rectangle. Spread butter evenly to cover the dough. Combine brown sugar, cinnamon and nuts and sprinkle over the buttered dough.
  2. Starting with the longest side of the rectangle, roll into a long cylinder. Slice into 12 equal pieces and place in a lightly greased 9 X 13 casserole dish. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  3. Mix icing ingredients together and drizzle over cinnamon rolls and serve.
  4. Best served warm! Makes 12 servings. Enjoy!
